Me - "Legend, do you want to go to the library?"
Legend - "Wheeee. Slide?"
Me - "There is no slide at the library. Want to go to the library?"
Legend nods - "Uh-huh."
So we get our shoes and coats on, get in the car, and drive to the library. As I am getting Legend out of the car, I remind him where we have gone.
Me - "We're here, Legend! We're are going to the library now."
Legend nods - "Uh-huh."
We walk into the library and over to the kids' section.
Legend, shakes his head and waves his hand to dismiss the books - "No books. No books. Nah uh."
Legend marches back to the door - "No books. C'mere. Let's go."
Perhaps we should have gone to the park. At least he knows what a library is now.
