I am sweeping the floor and am just about to scoop the stuff into the dustpan.
Legend squats and looks at the dirt and garbage.
Me - "Don't touch it. It is yucky."
Legend - "Garbage?"
Me - "Yes. Garbage."
I scoop it up and go to put it in the garbage.
Legend - "Thank you, Mommy."
Wow.
And who said parenting is a thankless job?
