It is very difficult to feed the tots pasta, granola bars, fruit and cookies, and basically feed them until they refuse to eat a single bite more; then throw away or store their left overs; then eat asparagus. But I have made peace with it, put a little salt on it, and sit down to enjoy my diet meal instead of consuming the entire contents of the fridge which I feel much more inclined to do.
Kayla walks over to me, looks at my plate, snorts and says, "Pig."
Not the encouragement I would have preferred.
