Nice and Warm

We are in the car on our way to play group.

Legend - "Chilly! Snow outside!"
Kayla - "Snow's not chilly, Legend. It's nice and warm."
Legend - "Chilly, Kayla?"
Kayla - "Snow's not chilly! It's nice and warm."

Me - "Are you cold, Legend?"
Legend shivers dramatically - "Cold!"
Kayla - "Not cold!"
Me - "Are you warm, Kayla?"
Kayla - "Not warm! Nice and warm."

Me - "You're warm in that nice jacket."
Kayla, annoyed - "Not warm! Nice and warm!"

Legend - "Chilly! Snow!"
Kayla, pretty sure we are being daft - "Snow's not chilly! Nice and warm!"
Me - "Snow is cold, Kayla. Snow is very cold."
Kayla gets the last word in under breath before we park - "Nice and warm."

Sometimes I think she is contrary just for fun.
